Services for Mrs. Effie Davenport Gribble, 94, Woodbury Nursing Center, who died Monday, April 28, at Columbia Stones River Hospital after an extended illness, are set for 2 'p.m. Wednesday at Woodbury Funeral Home chapel with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Herb Alsup will officiate.
Her parents were the late Sam and Ida Richards Davenport, and she was the widow of John B. Gribble.
She is survived by two sisters, -Bessie Mingle and Sammie Higgins, both of Woodbury.
A member of the Church of Christ, she was a retired nurse's aide and homemaker. Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. today at Woodbury Funeral Home.
