Many people didn't know that the unassuming gentleman was actually a doctor of the paranormal sciences which he attained while working for Lockheed Martin.

Brad began his adventure on this planet September 20th 1959, when he was born his father left him and his mother to fend for themselves. So being the strong woman that she was his mother raised him on her own with the help of her parents whom Brad loved dearly. At 2 months he had his first Heart surgery, he was a fighter as he had several more before he was a teenager.

Brad went to the Citadel Academy where he attained a bachelors degree. Brad's original goal was to join the U. S. Army but instead he found the United States Air Force much more enthralling and stayed with the Air Force for six years as an officer and orbital analyst. When Brad left the Air Force in Sunnyvale, California he went to work for Lockheed Martin and worked both in California for several years then transferred to Colorado. Brad worked for over 35 years for Lcckheed Martin. Brad worked in space operations and the MILSAT program both at Peterson and Schriever AFB. His last assignment for Lockheed Martin was at 4th Space Operations Squadron at Schriever Air Force base, Colorado.

During his time with us Brad volunteered with the American Red Cross for over 30 years. Brad worked as a Disaster Action Team Member, taught babysitting classes, CPR classes, training the trainer classes, just a few of the long list of things he did for them. The American Red Cross will miss a great volunteer and supporter.

Many people didn't know the depth of Brad's generosity and it was quite deep. He was an active supporter of Children Incorporated since 1985 and sponsored many children during that time. Brad also donated to organizations like the Wildlife Foundation, The Policeman's Society, and the American Red Cross just to name a few of the organizations which received donations from him.

Brad was a home body who spent most of his time reading, his book collection is vast and he could have opened his own library. Brad in the past few years started watching anime to break up his time spent with his books. Brad will always be remembered as an unassuming quiet person which he truly was but he commanded respect with his quiet authority . Brad will be missed by people in California as well as in Colorado and around the world. Dr. Rice didn't have many friends but those people who knew him well and called him a friend will miss him dearly

Brad never married but that didn't mean that he didn't love or was loved so leaves no family that he knew behind just his friends who love him still. So we say farewell until our next journey together Doctor Bradford John Rice you are truly loved and missed.
