Gladys Coffey, 64, of Oneida, passed away in the Scott County Hospital Sunday December 30, after an illness of one week. She was the daughter of the late Dolph Barnett and the late Almedia Barnett. Survivors, husband, Fred Coffey of Oneida, two daughters, Joyce McDonald, Shirley Melch, son Bobby Lee Coffey, all of Detroit, Michigan, three sisters: Wilma Stines of Somerset, Ky., Ruth Whitehorn and Mary Whittaker both of Detroit, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted from the West Funeral Home Chapel 10 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Roy Blevins officiating. Burial in the Hazel Valley Cemetery.
