Robert D. "Bullet" Adams, 58, of 52 E. New Haven St., Bloomville, died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at his home.
He was born Jan. 7, 1946 in Jackson, Mich., to the late Robert I. and Catherine (LaRoy) Adams-Hughes. She survives in Tiffin. He married Charlotte (Seitz) Stewart in 1967. They later divorced. He then married Linda Pletcher in 1984. She survives.
Also surviving are: children. Mr. Duane Adams of Manchester, Mich., Mrs. Don (Michelle) Houston of Saline, Mich., Edward (Brenda Carter) Pletcher of Bloomville and Barbara Johnson of Mansfield; grandchildren, Kala Adams of Manchester, Mich., Jeanette, Allison and Jonathan Houston of Saline, Mich., Hayley Pletcher of Upper Sandusky, Edward "Pooh" Pletcher Jr. of Bloomville, Jesse Ream and jimmy Johnson of Mansfield, Mary Hartson Patrick and Andrew Carter, John Nelson II. of Tiffin, and Stacy Hartson of Bloomville; brothers and sisters. Mr. David (Kathy) Adams of Rome City, Ind., Mrs. Ed (Christine) Keezer of Chelsea, Mich., and Mrs. Butch (Alene) Wise of Upper Sandusky; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by; his father, Robert I. Adams; two brothers, Glen and James Adams; stepfather, Mr. James (Homer) Hughes; granddaughter, Rachel Ream; a niece, Heather Adams; and a great- nephew, James Wise.
Mr. Adams retired as a laborer from Progress Plastics in Bellevue and was also a self-employed carpenter, He was a 1946 graduate of Manchester High school in Michigan. He loved to fish and go camping. He was also an avid Michigan Wolverines fan.
Mr. Adams was a member of Bloomville United Church of Christ.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home in Sycamore with the Rev. Diane Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Bloomville.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at the funeral home.
