Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and longtime friend Nancy Kaye Atwood, 71, passed away peacefully with family by her side in Vernal, Utah
She was Born July 2nd 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Betty Joy Cooley and Marvin George Wallberg. Her birth name was Jenny Kaye Wallberg. Her brothers are Ric Wailes, Ron Hidmarsh from this family. Betty remarried to J.W. Kilpatrick, and from that family she had 3 her sisters, April Johnson, Cindy Drake, Lorrain Collins. Marvin Wallberg remarried and from that family she had 1 brother Steve Walker, and 5 sisters, Jane Walberg, Gloria Holzer, Diane Spainhower, Vicki Riddle, and Lola Walberg.
She was Adopted at the age of two by LeRoy Maxell and Norma Jean Cooley Wilcock and her name was changed to Nancy Kaye Wilcock. When She was adopted into that family they had three boys and later her parents had another boy and a girl. LeRoy Eugene ( Leah ) Wilcock, Roger Dean ( Jackie ) Wilcock, Kelly Maxell ( Maggie ) Wilcock, Ernest Brent ( Marla )Wilcock and Cheryl Lynn ( Semisi ) Moala.
Nancy had five kids : Lori (Chris) Putnam, Twins - Ariann ( Jeromy ) Childress and Allison ( Jeromy ) Soto, who were given up for adoption, but later came back into her life. Sheridan Swasey, Derrick Dean (Samantha) Atwood. Grandchildren : Mistyna (Cole) Sorensen, Brittnie Conboy, Josie (Trevor) Mitcheson, Shawnee (Rikko) Balotas, Richard Demorist (deceased) Alysha Dawson and Makiah Soto, Samantha DuCourant, Cody Childress and Ashlie Childress MariJo Ellen Atwood, Samuel Ron Dean Atwood, Archer Y Ridge Atwood, Athena Kaye Atwood, Titan Ace Atwood.
*Nancy married Ronald Dean Atwood in 1987 and they opened their doors to all and who became a part of the family, David Sorensen, Tom, and many more.
She is survived by her brother, Ernest Brent Wilcock and Sister, Cheryl Lynn ( Semisi ) Moala. Children, Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Jean Wilcock, brothers, LeRoy Eugene Wilcock, Roger Dean Wilcock,and Kelly Maxell Wilcock. and her beloved husband Ronald Dean Atwood.
Her passions included genealogy, Camping, Shooting guns, site seeing, tarot cards and playing games on her computer.
