ROYAL CENTER — Services for Jack Allen Zeek, 84, Royal Center, will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel.

He died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, in Chase Center, Logansport.

Born April 10, 1923, in Bloomingdale, he was the son of the late William R. Zeek and Minnie M. Boze Bonnell.

Jack retired in 1987 from ABC Metal in Logansport, and he also enjoyed walking and shopping.

Surviving are four daughters, Mary June McIntire and Norma J. Howard, both of Royal Center, Rebecca J. Johnson and husband, Kenny, Ohio, and Jackie Cain, Logansport; five sisters, Edith Nichols and Midge Maddox, both of Buffalo, Marion Benson and Zelma Ross, both of Logansport, and Mary Lou Ezra, Winamac; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Orville "Bud" Zeek; four sisters, Vivian Frushour, Jenny Zeek, Alice J. Mireman and Erma Jean Day; and son-in-law, Melvin L. McIntire Sr.

Pastor Dirk Raderstorf will officiate at the services.

Friends may call from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
