Roma Gail (Berry) Pate, age 76, of Omaha passed away peacefully on September 29, 2022. She was born July 20, 1946, in Omaha, NE to Charles Berry and Catherine (Berry) Galsche.

Roma, or "Penny" as she was nicknamed for her fiery locks had a passionate personality to match. She was the person you wanted in your corner; she was funny and witty, and her sarcasm was on point. She loved music and was a beautiful singer. For years, she and her husband, Pat, entertained many VFWs and lounges around town with their band, All That Jazz. She was a nurturer at heart, always caring for her family, friends, neighbors, and those in need. And often, to everyone's delight, she would treat us to a delicious dish from her kitchen.

She is survived by Raymond Galsche (brother), Shellene and Melissa Berry (daughters), Harley Berry (granddaughter), Santana (great grandson), Robert Murphy and John Cvilikas (brothers-in-law), Matthew Cvilikas (nephew), Rylee (grandniece), and Weezy (loyal dog). She is proceeded in death her by her parents, husband, Patrick Pate, brother, James Galsche, and sisters, Linda Cvilikas and Mary Murphy.

CELEBRATION of LIFE will be Sunday October 16th from 1pm to 3pm at the Oak Hills Country Club 12325 Golfing Green Dr. Omaha. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for the Josie Harper Hospice House and The Nebraska Humane Society.
