Yvonne "Rose" Adams, 79, of Liberty, KY passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. Born on November 18, 1942 in Broughtontown, KY to the late Haskel and Virginia Martha Rogers Brown. She was the widow to the late William "Jack" Adams. She enjoyed flowers, cooking, and listening to all kinds of music. Most of all, she liked to sing old time gospel and country songs. She was so proud of her family and loved them dearly. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Liberty, KY.
Survivors include three children, Jackie Adams (Lance Brown) of Liberty, KY, Steve Adams (Susan) of Stanford, KY and Patrick Adams (Karla) of Danville, KY; six grandchildren, Erin Gray (Russell), Laura Gadberry (Lee), Erika Perry (Bryce), Kacie Brogle (Seth), Sara Beth Erlandson (Tanner) and Slate Adams; six great-grandchildren, Logan Perry, Landry Perry, Lawson Perry, Sawyer Brogle, Heidi Brogle and Hollyn Brogle; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Adams; and parents, Haskel and Martha Brown.
A one-day service has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Rodney Lynch officiating. Burial will follow at McKinney Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers are Steve Adams, Patrick Adams, Logan Perry, Slate Adams, Bryce Perry and Lee Gadberry.
Honorary Pallbearers are Lance Brown, Russell Gray, Seth Brogle, great-grandsons and friends at Danville Center Nursing Home.
