Services were held Saturday, 11 a.m. February 2, 2008, at Jay Chapel in Madera, CA. Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2008, in Midway Cemetery, Goldsboro, Texas, directed by Fry - Bartlett Funeral Home in Tuscola, Texas.
Oneta was born in Wylie, Texas. She was a resident of Turlock, California for 25 years and a resident of Madera, California for the past two years. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Berkeley Avenue Baptist Church in Turlock.
Survivors include: a son, Jim Lockett and wife, Sharyn of Visalia; a daughter, Linda Geist and husband Gary, of Madera; six grandchildren, Blaine, Brent, Kyle, Laura, Sheryl and Shane; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
