Mrs. Edna J. Williams, wife of J. E. Williams, died at her home Saturday morning, after suffering for a long time from consumption.

Funeral services were held in the Christian church Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, the Rev. J. A. Longston preaching the funeral sermon. The church was filled with friends of the deceased, many of whom followed her to her last resting place in the Fraternal cemetery.

Edna Ayers Williams was married to J. E. Williams in Idaho, January 16, 1897, afterward removing to Seattle. About seven years ago Mr. and Mrs. Williams, with several of Mrs. Williams' children, came to Chelan to reside, where they have lived ever since.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Williams leaves seven children, namely R. W. Ayers, Ralph Ayers, Bertha I. Ayers, Harry B. Ayers, all of Chelan, Mrs. E. E. Hanks, of Leone, Idaho; and Mrs. Emma Jackson of Spring Camp, Idaho. The two latter were unable to be present.
