James G. Boutwell, 78, of 116 Genesee St., Warsaw died Tuesday, March 29, 1983 in the Wyoming County Community Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Orangeville November 29, 1904 the son of Cleo and Lydia Ann Nimsker Boutwell. Mr. Boutwell, a lifetime area resident, worked at the Embury Lantern Factory and later for 20 years at the Warsaw Mallory Timers Plant. He was a member of the Warsaw 1st United Methodist Church and the Methodist Men's Group. He was also a member and past Noble Grand of the I.O.O.F. of Warsaw with additional service as chaplain and as a member of the District Deputy staff. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Myrtie, 2 granddaughters, R. Dawn Allen, Tamara S. Wiles, both of Perry, 3 sisters, Bernice Heidel and Florence Stroh of Franklinville and Pearl Chiappone of Rochester and 1 great grandchild. Funeral service conducted at Weeks Funeral Home. Burial in Warsaw Cemetery.
