Corwin was passionate about music and teaching. His 40-year teaching career as an instrumental music teacher took him to Missouri, Iowa, and Atchison and Kansas City. He was a positive influence to thousands of lives by the sharing of his passion and love of music.
Corwin was a member of Lenexa Masonic Lodge #315, Abdallah Shrine, and Overland Park Christian Church. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Revolution.
Corwin was proceeded in death by his parents and brothers Samuel and Morris.
