Alfred "Bud" Pratt

Alfred "Bud" Pratt was born in Bartlett, Nebraska on February 21, 1934 to the late William Pratt and Ina (Pruett) Pratt. His early education was at Red Top School in rural Wheeler County, and he graduated from Greeley High School. Bud proudly served in the U.S. Army in the 6th Armored Division, stationed at Fort Leonard, Missouri, from 1954 to 1956, and was honorably discharged. He lived in Council Bluffs, Iowa for many years; and retired from Peoples Northern Natural Gas. Bud enjoyed woodworking, building yard ornaments, and gardening. He loved spending time with his family, neighbors, and his friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Pratt; son, Mark Pratt; and sisters, Katherine Poulson, Rosie Rouillard, Elsie Beanblossom, and Francis Iburg.

Bud is survived by his son, Scott Pratt; and sister, Goldie Poulsen (Donald).

It was Bud's wish to be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
