Alma Louise Zykan, 83, of Rosebud, Mo., passed away Monday, Sept. 26, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.

She was born Nov. 6, 1938, to William Otto and Ruth Amelia (Woodring) Casagrande in St. Louis.

She was united in marriage to Ferdinand Zykan June 16, 1984, in St. Louis.

Alma was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville. She enjoyed traveling, going to casinos, sewing and stitching.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruth; husband, Ferdinand; son, Corey Zykan; brothers, Bill and Joe Casagrande; and sisters, Theresa Lott and Catherine Helfrich.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Mounce of O'Fallon, Kenneth Estes of Pevely, Patrick Estes of Union, Keith Estes of Woodward, Okla. Ferdie Zykan of St. Louis and Don Burrows and wife Paulette of Rosebud; sisters, Mary Thompson and Margaret Kinworthy and husband Charles all of Owensville; and by 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 3 from 4-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel with Fr. Wayne Boyer officiating. Burial will be in Countryside Memorial Gardens.
