GIBSON CITY - Edward Bunting, 85, Gibson City, a retired carpenter, died at 7:54 p.m. Thursday (April 26, 1990) at Gibson Community Hospital, Gibson City.
His funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, the Rev. Dick Cates officiating. Burial will be Drummer Township Cemetery, Gibson City. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Bunting was born May 24, 1904 in DeLand, a son of Samuel and Anna Lubbers Bunting. Surviving is a brother, Alfred Bunting, Melvin. Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Mr. Bunting had been a resident of Gibson City since 1948. He was a member of United Methodist Church of Gibson City and Sibley Sportsman Club.
