Lois Brafford, 82, Ennis, TX passed away, September 19, 2022, at Baylor, Scott and White Medical
Center, Waxahachie, TX.
Lois was born in Rice, Texas May 5, 1940, the daughter of Earl and Birdie Mae (Duncan) Ellis.
Lois is survived by her 3 children, Gailen Bills, Ferris, Texas; Greg (Kendra) Bills, Gun Barrell City, Texas
and Nelda Gwen Clark of Ennis, Texas.
Lois is survived by 8 grandchildren, Aubrey (Wimberly) David, Courtney (Randy) Daley, Richard Hand, all
of San Antonio, Texas; Bryce (Allison) of Celina, Anna (Jacob) of Glen Heights, Tx, Stephen (Lauren) of
Plano, Texas; Cassey (Jeff) Gregory of Lewisville, Tx and Joe (Chelsey) Clark of Rice, Tx.
Lois used to say that you love your kids, but when those grand kids come along it's a different kind of
love when your babies start to have babies. But when those GREAT grand kids start making their
appearance, the kids and grand kids took a backseat. She was so very proud of GREATS. She is survived
by 16 great grandchildren, McKayla Hand, Laela Hand, Daegan Davila, Morgan David and Trapper David
all of San Antonio, TX; Zoe Daley and London Daley of Flower Mound, TX; Hailie Marie Hunt, Glen
Heights, TX; Ellison Bills, Bryleigh Bills and Jackson Bills all of Celina, Tx; Charliegh Sivils and Miles Sivils of
Plano, TX; Brandon Gregory and Brighton Gregory of Lewisville, TX and Aurora Clark and Aspen Clark of
Rice, TX.
Lois is also survived by two sisters, Ann Woods of Ennis, Tx and Barbara Floyd of DeSoto, TX
Lois had many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her smiles, hugs and fiestiness.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Wayne Brafford, parents, Earl and Birdie Mae Ellis; sisters,
Joyce Rogers and Linda Bedenbaugh; and brother Ken Ellis.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00a.m., Friday, September 30, 2022 at the Cowboy Church of
Ennis, 7450 S. Interstate 45 Service Road, Ennis, TX 75119.
In lieu of flowers, anyone interested can make a donation to the Cowboy Church of Ennis in Lois's name.
