Duane went to his heavenly home today where he was greeted by his Mama, Papa, Sister Mog and Brother-in-law Kenneth, Nephew Kenny, Granddaughter Karen Richey and many many more family and friends.

Duane was a Santa Rosa County Educators for 35 years. He taught at Munson for 16 years and finished at Central/Allentown with 19 years. He loved to teach. He loved his students and always wanted the best for them.

Duane started out as a Medical Technologist. He worked at several different hospitals but retired from Sacred Heart with 25 years of service.

When we married he was working three jobs. Teaching at Munson during the day, teaching ground school at night and working at the hospital on weekends and summers. He loved working. When not at work he was either building something in the shop, or tending his garden or in the woods .

Duane loved his family. They were the most important people on this earth. He might not show it with a lot of emotion, but the love was there.

He leaves me, Deborah, his wife of 41 1/2 years. His sons, David, Joshua, and Daniel (Kerlle) Broxson and one daughter Janine Broxson. His grandsons, Doug Snow, Richard & Michael Walker, Matthew & Dustin Broxson, and Granddaughter GG. Great Grandchildren.
