Mrs. Mollie Garreth, widow of the late T.E. Garreth and former Lewisburg- resident, died last Thursday evening at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pickett, of near Lynn, Indiana, after a long decline in health, the last two years of which she was bedfast. On the Saturday previous to her demise, she reached her 87th birthday.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at a funeral home in Lynn and were in charge of Rev. Earl Lantz of Union City, pastor of the Church of Christ in Greenville. Burial followed in Roselawn cemetery here, where brief burial rites were conducted, which were attended by quite a group of local relatives and friends.

Survivors are the daughter, Mrs. Pickett, the former Effie Bunger; a step-daughter, Mrs. Mattie Moore of Richmond; two granddaughters, Mrs. Ray Summers of Lynn and Mrs. Carmen Horner of Richmond, and a number of great-grandchildren. Mr. Garreth died here in 1935 and the first husband, F. B. (Barney) Bunger, a number of years ago.
