Schickler, Catharine (Katie) - Of 88 Adelaide St., Kitchener, passed away peacefully, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Thursday, May 15, 1986, Catharine Schickler, in her 79th year. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Dear mother of Walter and Frederick Koehler, both of Kitchener and Milton Koehler of Calgary, Alta. Lovingly remembered by sisters, Mrs. Barbara Oakley of Waterloo and Mrs. Lena Bender of Baden and by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husbands, Milton Koehler and Albert Schickler; by one son, Clarence and by a grandson, Glenn; by her parents, Simon Kropf and the former Barbara Albrecht and by four brothers and three sisters. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton and Church St., Kitchener, will begin today (Saturday) at 7 p.m. and continue until 9: 30 a.m. Tuesday, at which time transfer will be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 825 King St. W., Kitchener. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Rev. Dr. Barton Beglo officiating. Internment Riverside cemetery, New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, or to Country Hills Missionary Church Building Fund would be greatly appreciated.
