Mrs. Bessie Freday Dunn of 107 Milburn Drive died yesterday at Community-General Hospital after a long illness. A native of North Constantia, she had resided in Syracuse the last 23 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 123 at Constantia. Mrs. Dunn was a graduate of Cortland Normal School and taught in the northern Oneida Lake area. Surviving are her husband, Herbert F. Dunn; a sister, Mrs. Mae Petris of Parish, several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Kompf Funeral Home, 203 Fitch St. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery in the spring. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
