Obituary of Wilton Kirkland Brantley, Jr.

Pell City - Wilton Kirkland (Kirk) Brantley, Jr., 65, died Thursday, September 22, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, on Monday, September 26, 2022, at Cropwell Baptist Church with Pastor Jon Glass officiating. Private burial following.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 at Cropwell Baptist Church.

Married the love, of his life, Sherry in 1992.

He was a member of Cropwell Baptist Church and a faithful member of the Loving Hearts SS class.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Covington Brantley; four sons, Chip, Kent (Brittany), John Moler (Melissa) and Nicholas; eight grandchildren, Sadie, Kade, Ava, Katherine, Sawyer, Hunter, Amelia, and Emory; father, Wilton K. Brantley, Sr. (Frances); sister, Rhonda Beam (Jim); nieces, Carmen Beam Newsom (Reaves), Maggie Beam; step-siblings, Richard Brantley, Theresa Peters (Kim), Thomas Brantley (Anita) and David Brantley (Sharon).

He is preceded in death by his mother, Jeffie Nell Maynard Brantley; niece, Emily Beam; father-in-law, John David Covington; and nephew, David Wyatt.
