Dixie Lea Highfill, of Everton, MO, departed this life on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO at the age of 84.

She was born on December 12, 1937 in Dade County, MO to Clarence and Evelyn (Toler) Hall. Dixie graduated from Dadeville High School. She was united in marriage to Clark Bias in December of 1957 and to this union two children were born, Steve and Vicki. Clark passed away in 1969. Dixie married Vernie "De" Highfill in September of 1970.

Dixie loved her Lord and Savior. She was an active member of the Fairview Baptist Church. Dixie was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family and will be greatly missed.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Clarence and Evelyn Hall; her first husband, Clark Bias; her second husband, Vernie "De" Highfill; two brothers, Tom Hall and Daniel Hall; and one grandchild, Delaney Little.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Fairview Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hampton Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, at 1:00 p.m. until service time in the church.
