Judith "Judy" Butler, 72, of Tallahassee, Fla., formerly of Eureka, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012.
She succumbed to pancreatic cancer after a painful struggle.
She was born in Washburn, Ill., on May 2, 1940, the fourth of nine children. After graduating from Eureka High School in Eureka, Ill., she worked as an assistant chief operator for General Telephone of Illinois. In Eureka, she met her future husband of 48 years, John Butler.
Judy and John have two children, Mike of Marianna, Fla., and Linda Lombardo (Todd) of Tallahassee, Fla.; and brothers and sisters, Barbara Blain of Eureka, Ill., Wayne Aeschleman and Myron Aeschleman, both of Roanoke, Ill., Jimmy Aeschleman of Eureka, Ill., Sharon Siverly, Betty Osborn, Kathy Phegley, all of Washington, Ill., and Donna Kenagy of Pelion, S.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Aeschleman and Viola Aeschleman (Schaumberg) of Eureka, Ill.; and a brother, Wayne Aeschleman of Roanoke, Ill.
