ALLIE OAKLEY OBITUARY
Allie Campbell Oakley N. CHARLESTON - Allie Campbell Oakley, 82, of North Charleston, SC, died Monday, June 17, 2013. A Memorial service will be held Friday, June 28, 2013 in the Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3595 Ashley Phosphate Road at 12:00 pm. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL. Burial to be private. Allie Campbell Oakley was born December 12, 1930 in Goochland, KY. She was the daughter of Osborne Campbell and Sarah Ann Drew Campbell. Mom was a devoted military wife and mother who loved her family tremendously. She had careers as a licensed cosmetologist and a certified nursing assistant. Her last employment was as a nurse for Dr. Samuel D. Thomas (now a retired urologist). She is survived by her daughter, Shirley O. Shumer of North Charleston, SC, son, James C. Oakley of Summerville, SC; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wylie L.
