Francis Hart Dalton was born in 1795 in Albemarle County, Virginia to Isham and Elizabeth (Walton) Dalton. He, his parents and siblings moved to Madison County Kentucky, believed to be sometime between 1803 and 1809. Francis married Biddy Coyle in 1823 in Kentucky and moved to DeKalb County Missouri sometime before 1830.

I have not been able to find any information as to the location of the graves of Francis or Biddy. Their son Simeon's grave is in a "family" cemetery (Todd cemetery in DeKalb County Missouri) that is, from what I can tell, now located on private property. It is possible that Francis and Biddy are buried in a similar family cemetery and the graves are not publicly accessible. If anyone knows where Francis and Biddy are buried please let me know. I have seen his first name also spelled as Frances. Their graves may be in the vicinity of DeKalb (the town) Missouri, which is in Buchanan County vice DeKalb County.
