A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Chris Browder, will be held on Sunday, September 18,2022 at 3PM in Graham Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 2PM-3PM.
Mrs. Williams was born in Lake City, SC on June 22, 1949, to the late Clarence H. Bragdon and the late Veda Coward Bragdon. She was a graduate of Lake City High school and worked for several years in banking with Wachovia and SCNB as a teller supervisor. She loved watching her girls play softball and devoted her life to being the most wonderful wife and mother. She was such a caring and thoughtful person and made holidays so special for those she loved.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 45 years, George Richard Williams of Georgetown; two daughters, Angela Williams Wilson and her husband Glenn of Georgetown and Lindsey Williams Cox and her husband Ryan of Andrews; four beloved grandchildren, Finn and Saylor Wilson of Georgetown and Truitt and Karter Kade Cox of Andrews; and her mother-in-law, Betty F. Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Hoyt M. Williams, Jr. The family would like to thank their dear family friend and loving caregiver Cheryl James for providing Mrs. Williams with the most compassionate care and dedication.
