Jimmie Troy Thomas died Thursday, January10, 2008 at his home near Bryson. He was 74. A graveside service will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday, January15, 2008 at Cottonwood Cemetery in Bryson, Texas. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Thomas was born February 16, 1933 in Big Spring, Texas and moved to Bryson with his wife Carol from Breckenridge in 1992. Carol preceded him in death in 1999. Mr. Thomas served in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the Episcopal Church.
Survivors: son, Ronald D. Thomas and wife Karen of Bogata, Texas; grandchildren, Shawn A. Thomas, and Amanda Barker. He is also survived by his father in law Lowell King, and an uncle in law Henry King.
