She was born September 17, 1972, in Galesburg, the daughter of Michael C. and Dorothy "Dottie" L. (Parker) Weathers.
She is survived by her mother, Dottie Weathers of Galesburg; one sister, Amy L. (and Jim Shumaker) Weathers of Galesburg; a niece, Erica Williams and a great-nephew, Adrian Williams.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Debra graduated from Abingdon High School in 1990 and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree in 1996 from Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska. She worked as a Retail Pharmacist at Walgreens, Hy-Vee, and Econo Foods, and later she worked as a Pharmacist for Comprehensive Pharmacy Services. She was currently employed at Mature Solutions in Bartonville. She has lived in Abingdon, Kewanee, and Peoria. Living in Abingdon, she attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church and while living in Peoria, she has attended St. Jude Catholic Church. Through all of her trials, tribulations and illnesses, she kept her sense of humor and brought joy to her family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 504 N. Main St., in Abingdon. Father Daniel McShane of St. Jude Catholic Church will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Cremation will be accorded following the service with a private burial of her ashes in the Abingdon Cemetery at a later date. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Abingdon Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
