Visitation for Cynthia will be Friday, September 16, 2022 from 10:00-12:00 at Gallagher Funeral Home. Services will follow the visitation at 12:00 at Gallagher Funeral Home with Reverend Dennis Brown officiating,
Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Cooper; father, Guy Barkdull, Sr.; mother, Mary Bordelon; brother, Guy Barkdull, Jr.; and a sister, Louise Bardull.
Those left to cherish her memory include her brothers, Ryan Barkdull (Penny) and John Barkdull, Sr. (Deborah); two nephews, John Barkdull, Jr., and Anthony Bridges; one niece, Ariel Bridges; three great nieces, Brielle Bridges, London Bridges, and Adeline Barkdull; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Cynthia was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed spending time at her church, which was the Pentecostals of Alexandria. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was also a connoisseur of women's perfume. She was a proud Army veteran, serving two four year stints, one of which was in Germany. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
