Mrs. Margaret A. Morse, 81, a long-time North Central Washington resident died in a Wenatchee hospital Tuesday following a brief illness.
Born in Ulysses, Neb. Jan. 12, 1885, she spent her early life at Brunswick, Neb. She met her future husband (the late Elmo S. Morse) there and he later homesteaded at Manson in 1904. She joined him and they were married June 18, 1907 at Chelan. He preceded her in death in 1932. Mrs. Morse had resided on the Manson homestead until moving to Wenatchee in 1947.
Surviving are: one son, Ivan Morse, Manson; two daughters, Mrs. Darrell (Mary) Brown, Wenatchee, and Mrs. Eugene (Marjorie) Troxel, Malaga; three sisters, Miss Bertha Barrett, Lincoln, Neb.; Mrs. Lila Scranton, Plainview, Neb. and Miss Mildred Barrett, Fairbury, Neb.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
