Phillips Chapel Farmer Is Buried Hamilton Cemetery
Gilbert D. Burton, farmer of the Phillips Chapel community, aged 64 years, died Tuesday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock and the funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at Hamilton cemetery where Interment was made. The services were conducted by Rev. Mary Clay.
Surviving are his wife, one daughter. Mrs. Sarah Scrugg, Turlington, and six sons, John, Calvin, Clyde, Bob, Loy and Roy Burton, all of Corsicana. The funeral was directed by the Sutherland Funeral Home.
