"James Ware Gardiner "Jimmy" was my godfather. He lived on an incredible 77 acre estate in New Canaan Connecticut and maintained several homes includine one Sutton Place in New York, Paris France, Las Vegas and Lake Charles. He was a noted producer of Broadway plays including "Plain and Fancy" in 1955.
For Jimmy's New York and Connecticut friends, a service was held at St Patrick's cathedral in Manhattan.
I will always remember Jimmy as a man of incredible style and taste and a loving godfather. Thank you for doing this service. You cannot appreciate what it means for me to see his final resting place."
