She worked for Western Electric as a layout operator for 20 years. Mrs. Hoy was a Volunteer at her church in Florida and loved working with the children. Marcella was also an enjoyer of bowling and golf.
She is survived by her sons, Rick (Connie) Hoy and John Hoy; daughters, Deborah and Sondrah Bowling; cousins, Judy Canter and Vickie Bass; grandchildren, Salina (Hoy) Jameson, Nick Hoy, and Ryan Hoy. She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; husband, Marvin Hoy; and siblings, Tink Harris, Grady Harris, Ethel Johnson, and Ardell Polston.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary and Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN, 46140. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
