Ralph Biddix, 92, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Kewanee Care Center in Kewanee, IL.

Ralph was born to the late Marion and Melissa (Lowery) Biddix in North Carolina on May 10, 1930. He married the late Faye (Gouge) Biddix. He served in the United States Army during the Korean war receiving three Bronze Service Stars. After serving in the military, he started working as the head lineman for GTE and the Verizon, where he retired from.

He loved playing guitar and singing with friends and family. He enjoyed drowning a worm every now and again, aka known as fishing. He had a vegetable garden that would make any farmer jealous and loved to share his bounty with family, neighbors and friends. He loved to travel back to North Carolina to see his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He taught them how to play checkers and knew when they saw Papaw, they better be ready for a game of checkers. Hearing his guitar, songs and his time with family will be so greatly missed.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Faye (Gouge) Biddix, twelve siblings and four parental siblings.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Norberg Memorial Home, Inc. & Monuments from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Services for Ralph will be on Monday, September 5, 2022 at the New Hope of the Nazarene Church in Princeton, IL, officiated by Pastor Laura Root Tanner.
