Anecia, 83, passed away on September 4, 2022. She was born April 27, 1939 in Honey Grove, Texas to James and Celia Vessels.

Anecia lived her life to the fullest. While attending college at East Texas State University she was in the Marpessas social club and was a charter member of Chi Omega. There she met Jack, who she married on July 23, 1960. Anecia adored her 3 daughters and spending celebrating birthdays and holidays with them. She loved caring for her cats, plants and flowers and enjoyed going to the Dallas Arboretum. Anecia treasured spending time her friends the Alex Sanger Exes for dinner once a month, where she could share her pride over the accomplishments of her grandchildren.

Anecia is survived by her children, Angelia Edwards and husband Rusty, Karla Adams, and Kecia Wright and husband Blake; grandchildren, Jenny Dillard, Joseph Dillard, Presley Edwards, Harmony Hall, Kamren Hall, Melody Edwards, and Emory Wright; great-grandchildren, Avery Dillard and Joey Dillard.

Anecia was preceeded in death by her beloved husband Jack Adams and her parents James and Celia Blair Vessels.

Services for Anecia will be held Friday, September, 9, 2022 at 1 in the afternoon in the Chapel of Croley Funeral Home Gladewater, Texas with a visitation starting just prior at 12 in the afternoon. A meal will be provided after the service at Gladewater Formal Students Association Building 2509 Hendricks St. Gladewater, TX.
