I just got back from the cemetery. Since the request only had his name, I asked a member of the staff for his location there at Desert Lawn. It took some time, longer than usual, to find out that his cremated remains are not there at Desert Lawn. I was shown a file card record with his name. On it it said his remains were "scattered in the desert". The desert would be in California because if the intent was to scatter him outside of California, the record would indicate which state.
I am going to accept the request and make the note there, but wanted to let you know 1st.
