Served in World War II from 1942-1945 as an ambulance driver, then became a certified plumber. In his retired years he loved playing golf with family and friends. Maurice also did volunteer work within the community.
Peacefully at Providence Manor on August 29th, 2022 at the age of 98. Maurice was 1 of 16 children (1 sister and 14 brothers) and is predeceased by his parents Walter and Lillian.
Maurice's family will receive friends on Friday, September 2 from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. at the Township Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 435 Davis Drive in Kingston (Centennial at Taylor-Kidd), followed by Liturgy of the Word Services in the chapel at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal prayers will be said at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens at 12:00 p.m.
