Graveside services for Mrs. Edith Yvonne Freeman will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville, with Reverend Kevin Paul officiating, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mrs. Freeman, 85, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Belle Teche Nursing Home, New Iberia, LA.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved sewing, playing connect four, and working crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed perch fishing with her brother Jerry. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Martha Wilson; one son, Hugh Freeman; five brothers; and seven sisters.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one son and his wife; one daughter, and her husband; her sister-in-law, Arkansas; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
