Margaret Ann Egan, 79, formerly of Jessup, died Nov. 28 at her residence in Boston. Her first husband was Donald Albanese, and she was the widow of Edward Egan.

Born and raised in Jessup, daughter of the late Stephen H. Evans and Margaret A. Wilson Evans Burns, she was a graduate of Jessup High School class of 1951 and graduated from the Wilfred Beauty Academy in New Jersey. She spent several happy years in Neptune, N.J., raising her family and returned to Jessup in 1979. She was a member of Queen of Angels Parish, St. James Church in Jessup, and before her retirement, she owned and operated a beauty shop in Jessup.

She was a kindhearted person and a woman of strong faith who fought hard for what she believed in. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She had a passion for doing hair and considered it a work of art. Her sense of humor had an inspiring effect on everyone who entered her beauty shop.

Surviving are her daughter, Jo Ann Loesch, Wall, N.J.; two sons, Robert D. Albanese and wife, Jennifer, New York City; and Stephen H. Albanese and wife, Lisa, Boston; five grandchildren, Richard Loesch, Brett Joseph Loesch, Luke Stephen Albanese, Louis Cole Albanese and Isabella Rose Albanese; two great-grandchildren, Brett Oscar Loesch and Chloe Jean Loesch; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, George Evans and Harold Evans.
