Lorene graduated from Edmond High School in 1950 and from Oklahoma A&M in 1954. She married Raymond Arkeketa in 1954 where they lived for some time in Tulsa, before settling in Edmond.
Lorene retired from teaching in 1994 as a special education teacher for Edmond Public Schools. Mom loved all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and relished her role as Munner and G-ma. She also loved working in her beautiful over-sized yard, shopping at Hopefully Yours every Tuesday and as many garage sales for which she could convince Susie to stop.
Lorene was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, parents and sisters Muriel Stolz and Roberta Miller.
