Sandra Ann Holmes, age 72, of Richlands, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022 in a Roanoke, Virginia hospital.
She was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the daughter of Alma Mae Stanford Edwards of Grundy, Virginia and the late Arlie Edwards.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a homemaker. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Holmes; one sister, Betty Lou Edwards Matney; and a half brother, Harold Edwards.

Funeral services for Sandra Holmes will be conducted Sunday, September 4, 2022 at 2pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Dannie Short officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Ryan Matney, Justin Dunford, Kennith Matney, Michall Phillips, Colin Booher, and Joshua Phillips. Friends may call from 1pm until 2pm on Sunday prior to the funeral at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia.
