Regina passed away peacefully at Juniper Springs Senior Living of natural causes. She had celebrated her 99th birthday with family and friends in January.

Regina was born on January 26, 1923 in Haymarsh, North Dakota, a small rural community 50 miles west of Mandan, North Dakota. Jacob & Veronica Fetter, her parents, homesteaded a farm and raised their six children there. Regina grew up with 4 brothers and a sister.

When she was 3 years old ,1926, the family moved to Reynolds, North Dakota where the family continued farming. Regina graduated from Reynolds High School in 1940. She married Bernard Adam, son of Philip and Philomena Adam, in 1942 in Reynolds. Their four children were born in Grand Forks, ND. In 1950 the family left the farm and moved to Fargo, North Dakota to provide better educational opportunities for the children.

During those years Regina began working as a nurse's assistant at St. John's hospital and then Dakota Hospital for 15 years. During those years she began swimming lessons and was an active swimmer until she was 96 years old. In 1980, after she and her husband retired, they moved to Ontario, OR to be closer to their daughter and family. When her husband passed away in 1993, Regina moved to Redmond, Oregon. They had been married for 51 years.

She was an active member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and spent many years volunteering with the Altar Society, the church quilting group, as well as St. Vincent DePaul. Additionally, she was a member of the Cascade Swim Center in Redmond for over 20 years. In 2018 she moved to Juniper Springs Senior Living where she had her own apartment and was able to participate in a variety of activities.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, her parents, Jacob & Veronica Fetter, brothers, Richard, Marcus, Stephen, Peter, and sister, Madge.
