Eleanor's Thanksgiving Holiday dinner--her husband, Bryce is at the end of the table. Jean Chase, her daughter, is standing on the far right. Jean Chases grandmother, Bertha Hawkins Spencer is sitted in front of Jean. Frances Gridley Spencer is the other woman standing.
On the far left is Ruth Spencer Gartland seated next to her husband Len Gartland. The back of the head in the lower right of the picture is Vivian Adele Spencer Miller

Obituary: Eleanor Chase, 70, Former Head ofDispensary, Dies. Mrs. Eleanor Spencer Chase, 70, head of Rochester Dental Dispensary for many years, and a descendant of Daniel Spencer for whom the village of Spencerport was named,died Friday (June 7, 1963) in her home at 92 Argyle Street(Rochester, NY). Mrs. Chase was born in Spencerport, April 22,1893, and was graduated from Mechanics Institute, predecessor ofthe Rochester Institute of Technology, and from General HospitalSchool of Nursing, in 1917. She was selected by George Eastman to head Rochester Dental Dispensary, a position she held formany years. For the last 20 years she has been a private nurse.She was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church of Spencerport.
