Annie Faye Salmons Soyars, 86, of Cascade, VA passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022.
She was born August 20, 1936, in Pittsylvania County, VA to the late Joseph B. Salmons and the late Ida Thore Salmons.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wiley Burton Soyars; son, Michael Burton Soyars; and eight brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Melinda S. Finney (Jeffrey); grandchildren, Jamie Finney, Jeffrey Finney (Jordan), Angela Willard (Pat), Dusty Williams (Bill), and Brian Soyars (Rose); great-grandchildren, Jordan, Hunter, Hannah, Lucas, and Leigh Ann; great-great-grandchildren, Alyanna and Jackson (on the way); and sisters-in-law, Joan Soyars and Doris Salmon.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 29, 2022, at Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave., Danville, VA, 24541. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. At other times the family will receive friends at her residence. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cascade Volunteer Fire Department, 5497 Cascade Rd., Cascade, VA. Norris Funeral Services, Inc. and Crematory, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave. Danville is serving the family.
