Both Robert and Martha passed away in the year of 1870, Robert was listed on line 34 and Martha on line 35 of the 1870 Mortality Schedule, it is assumed that Martha was laid to rest along side her husband. Their children were living in dwellings 263 and 266 as recorded in the Census of 1870 Precinct 2 of Hopkins. Martha's maiden name was provided in the death records of at least two of their children.
