Betty Marie Anderson passed away after a long illness on Oct. 11. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on March 21, 1930, to the late John and Mildred Polsfuss. She moved with her surviving husband Louis J. Anderson to Fountain in 1967 and was very active in the community with bowling, golfing, and is a life member of the Order of the Eastern Stars.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Freddie and Timothy; two daughters, Jacklyn M. Osgood (Fountain) and one daughter in Pennsylvania; three granddaughters, Annie, Tamara, Diana, and Mary. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Jessica, Hunter, and Jack.
Cremation has taken place at Oak Grove and according to Betty's wishes, there will be no service. Any memorials may be donated to Our Wish Spay & Neuter, PO Box 221, Scottville, MI 49454.
