Betty was born October 7, 1933, near Addington Bend in Love County, Oklahoma to Arthur and Viola Bond. She married James Kenneth Wade on August 18, 1962, in Durant, OK. They resided in Thackerville for all their 51 wonderful years together.

Betty worked on the assembly line for Weber Aircraft until her retirement. Throughout her lifetime, she enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. She was also known to take great pride in keeping her house spotless. Betty enjoyed cooking for family and spent countless hours playing dominoes and pitch with friends and family. In the evenings, you would often catch her unwinding to her favorite music playing on the radio while working a crossword puzzle or she might be watching her favorite show, The Price Is Right. Many things brought Betty joy and contentment throughout the years, but perhaps the thing she enjoyed most was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Preceding Betty in death were her parents; her husband, James; six sisters, Christine Hutchins, Fannie Pearson, Ruth Jones, Dorie Shurbet, Tootsie Liddell, and Bertha Roberson; a brother, Art Bond; and a half-brother, Bill Bond.

Those left to cherish Betty's memory are her son, Dale Monkres and wife Jessie of Thackerville; daughter, Kathy Kyle of Thackerville; grandchildren, Clinton Kyle and wife Jenny, Josey Kyle and wife Laticia, Jaime Williams and husband Delane, Phillip Monkres and wife Lindsay; and great-grandchildren, Braden Hailey, Wyatt Kyle, Briley Kyle, Cabella Kyle, Hoyt Kyle, Ember Kyle, and Gauge Kyle.
