She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Arnold Knight, Jim Knight, Ernest Knight, and Jesse Knight; sisters, Helen Emmick, Dorothy Allison, Mildred McLemore, and infant sister Sugar Baby. Survivors include sister Sally Pearson of Hoboken, GA.
