Robert H. Jarnac, age 80, of Cheboygan, died Saturday August 13, 2022 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. The son of Charles and Louise Jarnac, Bob was born in Highland Park, Michigan on October 14, 1941 where he attended Mary Magdalen Catholic School and Hazel Park High School. He went on to enlist and honorably serve in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in France. Bob eventually took a position at Triple Tool and Die where he worked as a CNC operator and met his wife, Mary Marten, whom he married on October 10, 1970 in Chicago. In 1984 they moved from Ferndale, Michigan to Cheboygan where Bob worked as a foreman at Century Products. Bob was a member of the Cheboygan Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Surviving is Bob's wife of nearly 51 years, Mary Jarnac of Cheboygan; daughter, Sandee L. Jarnac of Decatur, Georgia; sister, Dawn M. Milne of Madison Heights; brother-in-law, Michael Young of Ferndale; as well as his nieces, nephews, and cousins who had much love for Bob. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Claudia L. Young.
