Jacqueline Kay Copeland, 73 of Solomon passed away August 16, 2022. She was born September 11, 1948 in Salina, Kansas the daughter of Jack and Eula (Wiebke) Taylor. She graduated from Salina High School and went on to cosmetology school. After graduating she went on in life with a strong work ethic & continued this for as long as she was able to, in everything that she did. Jacqueline is survived by her daughter, Jodi Smith, one granddaughter, Emily Smith-Degroot, two sisters, Sharon Thelander and Jolene Decker, one niece, Jessica Palmer, two nephews, Dean and Raymond Holzhuter and a special bond and very close friendship with her cousin and caregiver, Marshia Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Gary Taylor, Mick Taylor and Ruth Holzhuter. Jacqueline's wishes were to be cremated. No services are planned at this time. The family suggests memorials be given to the Jacqueline Copeland Memorial Fund. Memorials may be mailed to Carlson-Becker Funeral Home, PO Box 308, Solomon, Kansas 67480.
